 good cause! This year's event will offer a night full of fun with casino g
 ames\, raffle prizes\, heavy hors d'oeuvres\, dancing and of course crowni
 ng a Prom King & Queen! \n\nThe Prom Benefit was founded in 2008 by local 
 community member Lorianne Bauer of ESS Clean as a fundraiser for the Easte
 rn Illinois Foodbank and is managed by a committee of community members co
 mmitted to alleviating local hunger. Every year\, we bring together fun lo
 ving folks from our community to relive Prom night or experience it for th
 e first time\, all while helping fight hunger. Our goal for Prom Benefit 2
 017 is to raise $100\,000 (500\,000 meals) for the Eastern Illinois Foodba
 nk. There are over 116\,000 individuals – one-third being children – that 
 seek help from EIF's network of food pantries\, soup kitchens\, shelters a
 nd other emergency feeding programs every year. The Eastern Illinois Foodb
 ank helps bridge the gap for our hungry neighbors in the community.\n\nPRO
