  The Prom Benefit was founded in 2008 by local community member Lorianne B
 auer of ESS Clean as a fundraiser for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. Every
  year\, we bring together fun loving folks from our community to relive Pr
 om night or experience it for the first time\, all while helping fight hun
 ger. Our goal for Prom Benefit 2016 is to raise $100\,000 for the Eastern 
 Illinois Foodbank. There are over 116\,000 individuals – one-third being c
 hildren – that seek help from EIF's network of food pantries\, soup kitche
 ns\, shelters and other emergency feeding programs every year. The Eastern
  Illinois Foodbank helps bridge the gap for our hungry neighbors in the co
 mmunity.\n\nSo join us on Saturday\, March 12\, 2016 at the Hilton Garden 
 Inn to relive your high school Prom or make new memories all while support
 ing a great cause. Ladies\, it's time to start looking for that dress or t
 o dust one off from your closet. Gentlemen\, try on that old suit or get f
 itted for you new tuxedo. Gather a group of friends and purchase a table o
 r buy your individual tickets by March 9. This year's event will offer a n
 ight full of fun with raffle prizes\, food and an open bar\, and of course
