Eastern
Illinois Foodbank continually publishes a variety of informative
materials to help agencies, companies, media, and various
other organizations, as well as the general public, stay
abreast of important issues and topics related to hunger
and hunger relief in eastern Illinois. The materials also
provide highlights of the Foodbank's activities and actions
related to alleviating hunger.

Newsletter - Agency News
This practical education tool assists the Foodbank's 200
agencies in staying abreast of topics important to their
day-to-day operations. Topics include food safety, nutrition,
case studies, codes and regulations, public policy, practical
tips and anecdotal stories of people being served through
the generous efforts of agencies.
Periodic
Bulletin- Table Matters
A newsletter about the Foodbank's operations and work is
created and published three times per year. The bulletin contains
current hunger statistics, Director's Corner, profiles of
member agency food programs, spotlights on volunteers, policy
updates, reports on special projects, and articles about
different groups of people served
Agency
Handbook
This document is provided to each agency, including groups
and organizations contemplating the start-up of a food relief
program. The handbook contains guidelines, policies and
procedures for topics ranging from client eligibility to
food handling, and from poverty guidelines to record keeping
and delivery.
